Great article.
I think a FIFA official should review the entire game on video. If there is evidence of flopping, then the player should receive a yellow card and sit out next game. That could slow down some of the BS

The heart pounds badly, sometimes leading to cardiac arrest, when bad refereeing is used to decide the outcome of a game. The time to change the rules of soccer is now.Deferring this very important task will not only be disappointing but diabolical.
The soccer world is widely awake to this call. Classic article,Ginero!

Doc,
in 2014, i doubt if there will be another implosion by the French team, I doubt if Italy will go out like that, I doubt if all the African teams will fall in the 1st round and the US team may come in better than this time around. Everyone who does not win the "cup" is coming in better, or so conventional wisdom dictates, and that's my fear. We did not wait to hear the contra-alto voice of the fat lady this time, and may pay the price for a while. Lets hope, Ayew, Prince and co come back with the experience gained from here, and in shape to win us the 'cup'. The hopes of of more than a Nation rest on our young stars. i hope that stays in the forefront of their thoughts next time they go to the soccer opera!
Your article is most interesting. ABK

Nana, true that....... Its not over till it's over, and therefore there's the need for mental alertness and composure until the final whistle. Though penalty kicks are 50-50, chance favours the prepared mind.

I feel so overwhelmed by this entry that I would love to see it published, in every paper in the country. Naturally, I want to send it to Washington, as well. Beautifully written, as always.

It clearly spells out the need to love and care for our families with all our might, so that someday in the future we do not regret sitting all by ourselves in a noiseless and lifeless room. It's a food for thougt.

This is undeniably a very good documentary on Ghana with no negative undertones. It portrays some aspects of the Ghanaian culture in its true colours and does serve as a good marketing tool.A documentary on the most popular sports, football and boxing, blended with some of the indigenous indoor games like Ludo,Aware and "draft" would be great. A look at the out-dooring,marriage ceremonies, funerals may also tell a good story about Ghana.More grease to your elbows!
